PROJECTS

The Six Sigma Journey

The SixSigmaIndy program includes a combination of instructional and project time.

The instruction includes six full days of training, followed by seven months for the completion of a community-based project.  The value of Six Sigma Training is normally $5,000, but thanks to our partner sponsorships, the tuition will be significantly reduced.

SixSigmaIndy starts a new cohort each year, and we use an application process to select the final candidates for up to eighteen highly sought-after seats.

HIGH RIGOR

Our training experience will stretch you. You will study and you will work at an accelerated pace. All work will be done with the highest quality and integrity because that's what our communities deserve.

high support

Our training experience includes an incredible amount of support. Participants work in teams, and they are supported by a Project Manager, a coach and a mentor (previous program graduate).

high reward

Our training experience yields highly valued skills like systems thinking, complex problem solving, and more. After successful completion of a project over a six month period , participants earn a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and a fantastic new network of peers.

WHY FOCUS ON  WORKFORCE OPPORTUNITY GAPS?

There is a growing disconnect in income and wealth across every socioeconomic level. Multiple sources report that median Black household wealth will hit zero by 2053 and Latino wealth will hit zero twenty years later.  Aggressively reversing this trajectory to economic IMmobility starts with opening doors to upskilling and workforce opportunities.

Six Sigma Green Belt Training is an opportunity that can change that trajectory.
