TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read this document carefully. This document describes the program expectations for SixSigmaIndy.

By registering for and participating in the Six Sigma Green Belt Business Course (“Course”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all participants, whether payment is made by the participant, employer, sponsor, or third party.

1. Course Enrollment

Enrollment is confirmed only after payment has been received or approved payment arrangements have been made.

The Course is intended for professional development and workforce training purposes. Participants are responsible for ensuring the Course aligns with their professional goals, availability, technology access, and schedule before enrolling.

2. Payment Terms

All course fees are listed in U.S. dollars.

Full payment is required before the Course start date unless a payment plan or invoice arrangement has been approved in writing.

Failure to complete payments may result in suspension or removal from the Course, including restricted access to course materials, coaching sessions, assessments, certificates, recordings, or online platforms.

Participants are responsible for any collection costs, declined payment fees, or late payment charges permitted by law.

3. Refunds, Transfers, and Cancellations

Because seating is limited and course preparation begins prior to the Course start date, the following refund policy applies:

  • Refund requests submitted within seven (7) calendar days of purchase may be eligible for a refund minus a processing fee of [5–15%].

  • No refunds will be issued after:

    • the Course has started,

    • course materials have been accessed,

    • online content has been opened,

    • coaching sessions have occurred,

    • or certification activities have begun.

Participants who cannot attend may request:

  • a one-time transfer to a future cohort within twelve (12) months, or

  • substitution of another participant from the same organization, subject to approval.

All transfer requests must be submitted in writing.

Failure to attend sessions does not qualify for a refund.

4. Course Changes

SixSigmaIndy reserves the right to:

  • adjust course dates or times,

  • change instructors or coaches,

  • modify delivery format (virtual, hybrid, or in-person),

  • update course content, tools, learning platforms, or assignments when necessary.

If the Course is canceled by the organization, participants may receive either:

  • a full refund, or

  • transfer to a future cohort.

SixSigmaIndy is not responsible for travel expenses, hotel costs, lost wages, or other participant expenses related to scheduling changes.

5. Attendance and Participation Expectations

Participants are expected to:

  • attend scheduled sessions,

  • actively participate,

  • complete assignments and project work,

  • demonstrate professional and respectful behavior.

Excessive absences, disruptive behavior, harassment, plagiarism, misuse of materials, unethical conduct, or failure to meet course requirements may result in removal from the Course without refund.

Participants are expected to contribute to a collaborative and professional learning environment that supports respectful engagement and peer learning.

6. Certification Requirements

To receive Six Sigma Green Belt certification, participants must:

  • attend required instructional sessions,

  • complete required assignments and deliverables,

  • successfully complete project requirements or presentations if applicable,

  • and earn a minimum score of 80% on the certification assessment.

Certification is awarded only after all stated requirements have been successfully completed.

Completion of the Course does not guarantee:

  • employment,

  • promotion,

  • salary increases,

  • business revenue growth,

  • consulting contracts,

  • or specific organizational outcomes.

[Organization Name] reserves the right to deny certification if certification requirements are not met.

7. Course Completion Timeline

Participants must complete all certification requirements within four (4) months after passing the exam unless otherwise approved in writing by SixSigmaIndy.

After the completion window expires, access to coaching, course materials, recordings, assessments, and certification support may be removed or require additional fees to restore access.

8. AI Usage and Academic Integrity

Participants may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools, including generative AI platforms, to support learning, brainstorming, organization, and productivity during the Course.

However:

  • all submitted work must reflect the participant’s own understanding and analysis,

  • participants are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated information,

  • fabricated data, plagiarism, copied project work, or misrepresentation of work is prohibited.

SixSigmaIndy reserves the right to deny certification or remove participants from the Course for academic dishonesty, falsified submissions, or unethical use of AI tools.

9. Coaching and Support Boundaries

Coaching and participant support are limited to:

  • scheduled coaching sessions,

  • designated office hours,

  • and reasonable business-hour communication related to Course participation.

Response times may vary based on instructor and coach availability.

The Course does not include unlimited consulting, business advising, project execution services, or on-demand support outside the stated scope of the program.
