NEED HELP?

The cornerstone of the Six Sigma Indy Green Belt program is a Six Sigma project. The program participants apply their new skills to a project after successfully passing a knowledge exam.

Our projects come from the community! Non profit agencies typically have process challenges that hinder their ability to effectively serve their clients. Our participants and coaches work alongside agencies to resolve those challenges - the Six Sigma Way.
Our data demonstrates that our Six Sigma approach produces positive results that benefit all constituents.

For the next cohort, we would love the opportunity to come alongside your community work. You can start the process by submitting a project idea for consideration.

PROJECT EXAMPLES
EMPLOYEE RETENTION
CURRENT CHALLENGE:
"Our nonprofit has trouble keeping employees, and we need to fix it."

CONVERTED TO A PROBLEM STATMENT:
"The employee retention rate at [Nonprofit Name] has been declining over the past three years, with turnover increasing from 20% in 2021 to 35% in 2023. The majority of employees leave within the first year of employment."
CLIENT
INTAKE
CURRENT CHALLENGE:
"Our client intake process is slow, and it frustrates both staff and clients."

CONVERTED TO A PROBLEM STATEMENT:

"The client intake process at [Nonprofit Name] currently takes an average of 14 days from initial contact to program enrollment, causing delays in service delivery. This has been an issue for over two years.. Our goal is to reduce the intake process time to 7 days ."
CLIENT
REGISTRATION
CURRENT CHALLENGE
"Our registration process is inefficient, and clients are dropping out."

CONVERTED TO A PROBLEM STATEMENT:
"At [Nonprofit Name], the client registration process currently has a 40% dropout rate, with many clients failing to complete their registration within 5 days. This issue has persisted for three years. The goal is to reduce the registration dropout rate to 20% within 6 months."
EQUAL ACCESS TO SERVICES
CURRENT CHALLENGE:
"Some of our clients don’t have equal access to our services. The situation is bad."

CONVERTED TO A PROBLEM STATEMENT:

"At [Nonprofit Name], disparities in service access have been identified among low-income clients. Currently, 80% of our program participants are from higher-income zip codes, while only 20% come from under-resourced communities. This gap has persisted for the past three years. Our goal is to increase participation from underrepresented groups to 40% within the next 12 months."

SSREI - Supplier Diversity Prompt Payment
